Take Flight
So I've bundled my life belongings into three suitcases.
Everything I am and need.
Leaving my comfortable space to study art in Victoria.
Seeing as I've been in the same little house on the same little hill in the same little town all of my life, I consider moving to the city... pretty massive.
I'm not sure if i know how to cook or look after myself.
Things shall be interesting.
I hope for the best.

My Artist Statement
She ate the blue right off the canvas, sucked every last drip from her fingertips. They never got the point. Of course they didn't. For she alone and no one else could understand the taste of its truth. The melancholy hue of the emotional stained canvas whispered tales of adventure. Mysterious and wonderful stories, half hidden, half smudged into the canvas. Show us, tell us your secrets they cried. But she didn't. Couldn't. They never stayed awake with the canvas, it's blank face staring her down in the grey hours of the morning. They never spent days with it, battling it's disposition. They never. Of course they didn't. She did. That's why, no matter who bought, sold and told the world about it, it was her painting. That was why only she knew how faintly sweet, and fairly toxic the blue that held their hearts tasted on her tongue.
Her love. Her blue.
Her love. Her blue.

The Girl and her Balloons
Location: (my hometown) Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Australia
These are some photographs I took for a uni assignment. Although I love painting photography is also passion of mine.I was actually apprehensive of posting these on the internet. They are so dear to me, I couldn't bear the thought of them being lost in cyberspace. However I love looking at photographs and being inspired by lovely images that I thought I was being selfish keeping them to myself...
I had dreamed of doing a photo shoot of balloons for so long (balloons are a favourite of mine if you haven't guessed so far)and combined with the grueling organizing and having to waking up at 3am, everything paid off. You would not believe the things that went wrong to start with: absent model, vanishing light, deflating balloons,no batteries..to say a few. The photographs articulate my vision so perfectly and I am lucky to have such beautiful friends that put up with my most randomest ideas.
So here's a sneak peak at my heart.
